Career
Felicia Zhang began skating at the age of seven. Felicia Zhang partnered with Taylor Toth in 2009. Together, they claimed the junior gold medal at the 2010 U.S. Championships. The pair also competed at the 2010 World Junior Championships, where they finished in 9th place. Moving up to the senior level for the 2010–11 season, Zhang and Toth participated in the Grand Prix circuit. They finished 7th at Skate America and 5th at Trophée Eric Bompard. Unfortunately, they had to withdraw from the 2011 U.S. Championships due to Zhang suffering from rib injuries. On March 10, 2011, Zhang and Toth announced they had parted ways.
By May 2011, Felicia Zhang had partnered with Nathan Bartholomay. During the 2013–14 season, the pair competed in two Grand Prix events, finishing 7th at the 2013 Skate America and 6th at the 2013 Cup of China. They then won the silver medal at the 2014 U.S. Championships, finishing ahead of Caydee Denney and John Coughlin, which secured them a spot on the U.S. Olympic team and named them as the first alternates for the World Championships. Zhang and Bartholomay went on to place 12th at the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi. When Denney and Coughlin withdrew from the 2014 World Championships due to injury, Zhang and Bartholomay stepped in as replacements. The pair announced the end of their partnership on July 16, 2014.
After retiring from competitive figure skating, Felicia Zhang stayed connected to the sport by transitioning into coaching and mentoring young skaters.
