Justin and Spokane Indians of the Northwest League together played. In 2011, Justin Miller got a promotion to the Frisco RoughRiders of the Class AA Texas League and later played the entire season there. He then played 48 times for the team and pitched 69 2⁄3 innings.

    The year was well spent with an impressive 77 strikeouts, 24 walks, an ERA of 1.81, and a record of 9–1. Later on, Rangers released him on September 1, 2013. Justin was signed by the Detroit Tigers on September 18, 2013, and subsequently added to the team’s 40-man roster on November 20, 2013. Tigers, later on, promoted him on April 18, 2014. The pitcher’s 2018 season started with nine appearances. He scored 1/3 scoreless innings with three walks, and 23 strikeouts and earned his only save opportunity.
