He was born as Christopher Alan Pallies, but best known as King Kong Bundy. He attend Washington Township High School in Sewell, New Jersey, graduating in 1975.
He was trained by Larry Sharpe at “Monster Factory” in Bellmawr, New Jersey. He debut his wrestling carrer starts on March 7, 1981, wrestling for the World Wrestling Federation under the ring name “Chris Canyon”. In 1982, Pallies relocated to Texas, where he joined the World Class Wrestling Association. Bundy is best known for his appearances in the World Wrestling Federation in the mid-1980s and mid-1990s. Bundy wrestled in the main event of WrestleMania 2 in 1986, facing Hulk Hogan in a steel cage match for the WWF World Heavyweight Championship. He had competed professionally from 1981-2006 and gained national recognition for his time in the WWF. He was a two-time NWA American Heavyweight and Tag Team Champion. Bundy achieved mainstream recognition in the World Wrestling Federation (WWF, now WWE) in the 1980s and 1990s: he headlined WrestleMania 2 in 1986 against Hulk Hogan in a steel cage match for the WWF World Heavyweight Championship, and at WrestleMania XI in 1995, Pallies was the fourth victim in The Undertaker’s undefeated WrestleMania streak.
On March 4, 2019, Bundy’s longtime friend David Herro made the announcement that Pallies had died in Glassboro, New Jersey. There is no cause of death reported as of March 5, 2019. He was 61 years old. He ranked in the list of most popular American professional wrestler.
