His father—a rapper who used the stage name “Sin City”—would often force his son to focus on writing his own rap music. He spent his early years in Brooklyn, Atlanta, and New Jersey. He’s been based out of South Florida and is of Jamaican descent.
In 2015, Ski Mask launched his music career professionally by releasing his first song on SoundCloud.
