Kristin Kreuk is one of the most famous and trending Actress in whole world right now. Kristin Kreuk was born on December 30, 1982 in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. She was born as Kristin Laura Kreuk, but best known as Kristin Kreuk.
Her parents, Peter Kreuk and Deanna Che, are both landscape architects by profession. Her father is of Dutch descent, her mother is of Chinese descent, born in Indonesia, and her maternal grandmother was Chinese Jamaican. She has a younger sister, Justine Kreuk.
Kreuk trained in karate and gymnastics at the national level until high school, but quit in grade 11 due to scoliosis. Kreuk was planning to study forensic science or psychology at Simon Fraser University, and was surprised when a casting director for the CBC television series Edgemont contacted her at her high school.
She went to an open casting audition for Edgemont (2000), a teen-drama series aired on CBC television in Canada. She plays the role of “Laurel Yeung”. Laurel was the last main character to be cast because the casting director was having a problem finding an actress. Fortunately, for them (and us), they found Kristin just in time. Her career was set to take off when she landed on the highly acclaimed WB television series, Smallville (2001). It follows the story of “Clark Kent” in his pre-Superman days in a small town of Smallville, Kansas. Kristin played the role of “Lana Lang”, Clark Kent’s object of desire before he meets “Lois Lane”. She kept juggling her work between ‘Edgemont’ and ‘Smallville’ before her stint with ‘Edgemont’ ended in 2005. Three years later in 2008, she left ‘Smallville’ after appearing for the first seven seasons.
Kreuk appeared in the comedy film EuroTrip (2004), playing the girlfriend who cheats on the protagonist with a musician (played by Matt Damon).
In early 2005, Kreuk signed on to the Canadian independent film Partition (2007), playing Naseem, a vulnerable 17-year-old whose world is shattered by the trauma of the Partition of India in 1947; the character also falls in love with an ex-British Indian Army officer. In the summer of 2006, Kreuk starred in the short film, Dream Princess by comic book writer/artist Kaare Andrews. The film is a modern sci-punk retelling of the tale of Sleeping Beauty, with a twist. Unfortunately it never aired. Kreuk starred in the film Street Fighter: The Legend of Chun-Li (2009), in which she played the title character, Chun-Li. In early 2010, Kreuk signed onto the Japanese horror film Vampire (2011). She also stars as Tilda in the science fiction comedy film Space Milkshake (2012).
She began dating Mark Hildreth in 2004-present. She won People’s Choice Awards for Favorite Sci-Fi/Fantasy TV Actress in 2014 and 2015.
In June 2002, she was ranked at number 10 in FHM’s ‘100 Sexiest Girls’ of 2002 poll, U.K. edition and also ranked at number 71 in FHM’s Sexiest Girls of 2002 poll, American edition the same year.
In 2003, she was voted in FHM’s 100 Sexiest Women list, ranked at number 24. Now she ranked in the list of most popular Canadian actress.
