After that, he became a postdoctoral member of the technical staff at Bell Laboratories in Murray Hill, New Jersey. Then, he became the Assistant Professor of Molecular Biology at Princeton University in 2006. He also became the professor of Neuroscience at Princeton. He has published over sixty articles on the brain in leading scientific journals till now. He gives public lectures on a regular basis which has been featured in The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, NPR, and the Fox News Channel. Sam released his first book titled “Welcome To Your Brain: Why You Lose Your Car Keys But Never Forget How To Drive” which became the best-seller of America that year. His book was named “2009 Young Adult Science Book of the Year” by the American Association for the Advancement of Science. His book has been translated into more than 20 languages till now. He has also published other famous books including Welcome to Your Brain and Welcome to Your Child’s Brain. Sam has been honored several times for his works. He has been awarded a Distinguished Young Investigator Award from the W. M. Keck Foundation. He was also honored by the Rita Allen Foundation Young Scholars Fellowship.
